Prima la donna al solito nel mezzo e presi p(er) mano
First, the lady as usual in the middle, and having taken
hands,
faccino la riuerenza e le continenze e tre riprese ama(n)
mancha
they do the riverenze and
the continenze and
three riprese to the left hand.
lasciandosi la mano faccendo ama(n) mancha la uolta col pie
ritto
They release hands, doing the volta
to the left hand with the right foot.
e dipoi subito si ripiglino p(er) mano faccendo ama(n) ritta
altre tre riprese
And then immediately they retake each other by the hand,
doing to the right hand another
three riprese.
e q(uest)o faccino tutti insieme
And they do this all together.
dipoi resti fermo [sic] la donna e li huomini eschino co(n) dua
passi intrauerso dandosi la man' ritta e schambinsi iluogi
e ferminsi
Then the lady remains still, and the men leave with
two passi in traverso giving right
hands, and they change places and stop.
et la donna escha con dua passi i(n)trauerso e uolti il uiso
aglihuomini
And the lady leaves with two passi
in traverso and turns her face to the men.
et cosi tutti atre faccino una reuerenzetta i(n)anzi col pie
mancho
And thus, all three do
a reverenzetta forwards with the
left foot,
e poi col detto pie una adreto
and then, with said foot, [they do] one backwards.
dipoi quei da lato stien' fermi e la donna co(n) 4 passetti
torni nel mezzo di loro epiglinsi tutti atre p(er) mano
Then those on the sides stand still, and the lady, with
4 passetti, returns to their midst,
and all three take hands,
e come disopra faccino le riprese ama(n) mancha et la uolta
col pie ritto e seguitino le riprese ama(n) ritta.
And as above, they do the riprese to the left hand and the
volta with the right foot, and continue with the riprese to
the right hand.
Dipoi come disopra eschino li huomini co(n) dua passi
i(n)trauerso dandosi la mano luno alaltro eschambinsi il luogo
i(n) modo ch(e) ciaschuno di loro uiene atornare nel luogo oue
era a principio d(e)l ballo
Then, as above, the men leave with
two passi in traverso, giving hands to
one another, and they change places in such a way that each
of them comes to return to the place where he was at the
start of the dance.
Dipoi li huomini stien' fermi et la donna come disopra escha
con dua passi i(n)trauerso et uolti il uiso aglihuomini
Then the men stand still, and the lady, as above, leaves
with two passi in traverso, and
turns her face to the men.
et cosi tutti atre faccino i(n)sieme una reuerenzetta i(n)anzi
et una adreto come disop(ra)
And thus all three do together
one reverenzetta forwards and one
backwards as above.
estando glihuomini fermi la donna torni nel mezzo con 4
passetti et atutti adua dia le mani
And the men standing still, the lady returns to their midst
with 4 passetti and gives her hands
to both of them.
e faccino le tre riprese i(n)qua et i(n)la co(n)la uolta come
disopra
And they do the three riprese back
and forth [literally "here and there"] with the
volta as above.
Dipoi cosi presi p(er) mano uadino adiritto tre trapassini et
u(n) passo e uoltinsi
Then thus having taken hands they go straight
three trapassini and
one passo and they turn.
et li huomini faccino dua passi i(n)trauerso e la donna i(n)quel
medesimo tempo ne facci uno et un' doppio i(n) uolta
And the men do two passi in
traverso and the lady at the same time does one [i.e. passo in traverso] and
a doppio turning.
e tutti si uoltino il uiso et au(n) tempo medesimo faccino una
reuerenzetta i(n)anzi et una adreto
And all turn their faces, and at the same time, do
a reverenzetta forwards and one
backwards.
dipoi cosi come stanno li huomini da un lato e la do(n)na da
laltro faccino le contine(n)ze le riprese co(n)la uolta come
disopra
Then thus as the men stand on one side, and the lady on the
other, they do the continenze,
the riprese with
the volta as above.
Dia dipoi la do(n)na aquello che glie sulla ma(n) ritta la sua
ma(n) ritta et egli alei e cosi p(re)si p(er)la mano
girino atondo tre trapassini et u(n) passo
Then the lady gives her right hand to him who is on her
right hand, and he to her, and thus having taken hands they
rotate around three trapassini and
one passo.
e ciascuno torni al suo luogo
And each one returns to his place.
dipoi facci la donna il medesimo co(n) quello che glie sulla
man mancha
Then the lady does the same with him who is on the left
hand.
dipoi tutti a tre faccino le riuerenze le continenze et le
riprese co(n)la uolta come disopra
Then all three do the riverenze,
the continenze, and
the riprese with
the volta as above.
Dipoi quello che si troua alla man ritta d(e)lla donna gli dia
la man ritta faccendo la treccia di sette trapassini et un
passo
Then he who is located
on the right hand of the lady
gives her his right hand, doing
the treccia of
seven trapassini and
one passo.
e questo faccino tutti atre sempre nel passare da(n)dosi le
mani et al fine li huomi si debbano hauer cambiati iluoghi
And all three of them do this, always giving hands while
passing, and at the end the men ought to have switched
places.
e dipoi come disopra faccino le riuerenze e dipoi quei da
lato stien fermi et la donna faccia 4 passetti e tornise [sic] nel
mezzo di loro
And then as above, they do
the riverenze, and those on the
sides stand still, and the lady does
4 passetti and returns to their
midst.
e piglinsi p(er) mano e faccino come disopra le riprese
conla uolta et una reuerenza et E
And they take each other by the hand, and they do as above
the riprese
with the volta
and a reverenza and it is...
