First they arrange themselves in a triangle.

10:20:3-5

eq(ue)llo che e i(n)anzi alla ma(n) mancha d(e)lla donna i(n)cominci aballar solo e facci dua scempi i(n)uerso il compagnio

And he who is in front, to the left hand of the lady, begins to dance alone, and he does two sempi towards his companion,

e dipoi sistorca alquanto uerso ladonna et uer(so) lei facci 4 passetti

and then he twists a bit towards the lady and towards her he does 4 passetti.

10:20:6-7

dipoi p(er)ch(e) acosto si ritrouerra alla donna tirisi i(n)dreto u(n) trapassino

Then, since he finds himself beside the lady, he draws back with a trapassino.

e dipoi facci una mezza ripresa i(n) sul lato ritto

And then he does a mezza ripresa on the right side.

e facci dipoi u(n) doppio i(n) uolta ama(n) mancha et uno ama(n) ritta et co(n) essi si ritroui al suo luogo

And then he does a doppio turning to the left hand and one to the right hand, and with these he ends up in his place again.

dipoi tutti atre faccino i(n)cerchio dua scempi e, 4 passetti

Then all three do in a circle two sempi and 4 passetti.

e uoltisi [sic] faccia et unaltra uolta faccino dua scempi e 4 passetti

And he turns his face and another time they do two sempi and 4 passetti

dipoi tutti atre faccino i(n)sieme una treccia di 8 trapassini e ciascuno come i(n) la treccia d(e)lla uita torni al suo luogo

Then all three together do a treccia of 8 trapassini, and each of them, as in the treccia of La Vita, returns to his place.

dipoi quello ch(e) nel principio ballo solo d(e)bbe unaltra uolta far solo dua scempi uerso il suo co(m)pagnio

Then he who danced alone in the beginning must again alone do two sempi towards his companion.

dipoi uoltandosi alquanto come nel principio uer[so] la do(n)na facci 4 passetti

Then turning himself a little, as in the beginning, towards the lady, he does 4 passetti.

et cosi trouandosi apresso alla do(n)na gli d(e)bbe fare una reuerenza col pie ritto et ella alui col d(e)tto pie

And thus ending up near the lady, he must make to her a reverenza with the right foot, and she to him with the said foot.

dipoi fermisi la do(n)na et egli co(n) u(n) doppio i(n) uolta si ritorni al suo luogo.

Then the lady stops and he, with a doppio turning, returns to his place.

Facci dipoi la do(n)na tutto quello ch(e) ha fatto nel principio d(e)l ballo quel h(uom)o p(er) i(n)fino ch(e) uiene afar dua doppi in uolta che la riportino al luogo suo

Then the lady does everything that the man has done from the beginning of the dance, so that she comes to do two doppi turning, which return her to her place.

11:21:1-2

dipoi la do(n)na dia la mano aq(ue)llo che glie ama(n) ritta e faccia dua scempi e 4 passetti ep(re)si per mano girino e faccino idetti dua scempi e 4 passetti e cosi ciascuno torni al suo luogo

Then the lady gives her hand to him who is on her right hand and does two sempi and 4 passetti, and holding hands they rotate and do the said two sempi and 4 passetti and thus each one returns to his place.

11:21:2-5

uoltisi dipoi la do(n)na alaltro huomo e diagli la man(o) mancha e egli la medesima alei e girino cosi p(re)si p(er) mano faccendo idetti dua scempi e 4 passetti come disop(ra) tornando ciascuno al luogo suo

The lady turns to the other man and gives him her left hand, and he the same one to her, and they rotate thus, holding hands, doing the said two sempi and 4 passetti as above, each one returning to his place.

11:21:6-8

dipoi tutti atre i(n)cambio di far la treccia ch(e) feciano i(n) la prima parte faccino atondo tre trapassini et un passo

Then all three, instead of doing the treccia that they did in the first part, they do turning around with three trapassini and a passo.

11:21:8-10

et uoltin faccia et faccinne altretanta unaltra uolta p(er)ch(e) el medesimo tempo ui e nel sonare ch(e) q(ua)n(do) fanno la treccia

And they turn their faces and do as many of them another time because the same time is there for you in the music as when they do the treccia.

11:21:10-15

dipoi stieno [strikeout: "femi"] fermi lihuomini et la do(n)na p(er) finir(e) la parte sua facci dua scempi uerso quello ch(e) glie aman mancha e quatro passetti uerso quello che glie i(n)sulla ritta dipoi una reuerenza col pie ritto co(n) u(n) doppio i(n)uolta ch(e) la riporti al luogo suo asimiglianza come nel principio

Then the men stand still, and the lady to finish her part does two sempi towards him who is on her left hand, and four passetti towards him who is on her right, then a reverenza with the right foot, with a doppio turning, which brings her back to her place, similarly to the beginning.

11:21:16-17

Seguita dipoi il co(m)pagnio [ch(e) q(ue)llo che fece nella la p(rim)a parte] afar[e] la sua parte e tutto q(ue)llo che fece il suo co(m)pagnio nella p(rim)a parte d(e)bbe far lui

Then continues the companion of him who did the first part, to do his own part, and all that which his companion did in the first part, he must do.

Ma i(n)q(ue)lla p(rim)a parte seguiua la treccia di 8 trapassini ne pero mutauano iluogi

But in that first part followed the treccia of 8 trapassini in which, however, they changed places.

11:21:19-21

ma i(n) q(uest)a parte i(n) ca(m)bio d(e)lla d(e)tta treccia seguita una treccia nella quale d(e)bbano stare sempre i(n) triangolo come si ritrouano i(n) comincia cosi

But in this part, instead of the said treccia, there follows a treccia in which they must remain always in a triangle, as they found themselves thus in the beginning.

quello ch(e) fa questa ultima parte d(e)bbe dar(e) la ma(n)o ritta aq(ue)llo ch(e) glie ama(n) ritta cioe al suo co(m)pagnio et non alla do(n)na et egli alui

He who does this last part must give his right hand to him who is on his right hand, that is, to his companion, and not to the lady, and his companion to him.

And thus they do two trapassini and stop.

Then he who finds himself in the place of him who has done this last part must give his left hand, which is the one that is there.

And thus must each one do who finds himself in such a place. Always, I say, give that hand which is there.

Ending up in the said place, he gives, I say, the left hand to the lady, and she to him, and thus they go, doing the said treccia, and in the end, each one must return to his place.

11:22:8-10

dipoi costui ch(e) fa q(uest)a parte d(e)bbe far(e) dua scempi 4 passetti una reuerenza et u(n) doppio i(n) uolta aman(o) ritta come disopra.

Then he who does this part must do two sempi, 4 passetti, a reverenza and a doppio turning to the right hand, as above.

11:22:11-12

Dipoi tutti i(n)sieme faccino 4 passi i(n)trauerso et q(uest)o semp(re) faccino i(n) triangolo luno dreto laltro

Then all together do 4 passi in traverso and this they always do in a triangle, one behind the other.

11:22:12-15

ma auertisci ch(e) q(ua)n(do) fanno detti [sic] passi i(n) trauerso et ch(e) nel passo fanno quella ripresa i(n)questi passi ne debbon[o] fare dua una cioe i(n)sul lato mancho et una i(n)sul ritto

But be warned that when they do the said passi in traverso, and when in the passo they do that ripresa, in these passi, they must do two of them, that is, one on the left side and one on the right side.

11:22:15-16

e ciaschuno torni i(n) triangolo al luogo suo

And each one returns in the triangle to his place.

11:22:16-19

dipoi la do(n)na dia la ma(n) ritta aquello ch(e) glie sulla ma(n) ritta et egli alei et cosi presi p(er) mano faccino tre trapassini et u(n) passo e ciascuno torni al luogo suo

Then the lady gives her right hand to him who is on her right hand, and he to her, and thus holding hands, they do three passetti and a passo, each one returning to his place.

11:22:19-21

dipoi uoltisi aquelaltro e diali la man(o) mancha et egli alei et faccino girando atondo idetti tre trapassini et u(n) passo

Then she turns to that other one, and gives him her left hand, and he to her, and they do, rotating around, the said three trapassini and a passo.

11:22:21-23

dipoi tutti atre faccino le riprese girando tutti i(n) triangolo e seguitino faccendo u(n) doppio i(n) uolta ama(n) mancha

Then all three do the riprese, all rotating in a triangle, and continuing by doing a doppio turning to the left hand.

11:22:23-24

dipoi muouinsi lhuomini co(n) dua passi et uadino arimetter(e) la do(n)na nel mezzo

Then the men move with two passi, and they go to return the lady to their midst.
