First they take one another by the hand, and do the reverenza

e lascinsi e faccino un trapassino i(n) uolta ama(n) mancha co(n) la ripresa sotto il pie mancho

and let go of each other and do a trapassino turning to the left hand with the ripresa under the left foot.

dipoi ripiglinsi p(er) mano et faccino p(er) il diritto d(e)lla sala tre trapassini et un passo

Then they take each other by the hand again and they do straight through the hall three trapassini and a passo

e dipoi uoltinsi e faccinne altre e u(n) passo i(n) modo ch(e) si tornera(n)no aluogi loro

And then they turn and do more of them, and a passo, in such a way that they will return to their places.

dipoi ferminsi quei da lato et la donna facci i(n) uolta un trapassino con la ripresa

Then those on the sides stop, and the lady turns, doing a trapassino with the ripresa.

Then she stops, and those on the sides do the same.

dipoi uoltisi la donna aq(ue)llo che gli [sic] dal lato mancho e diagli la man ritta et egli alei e faccino dua trapassini e torninsene aluogi loro

Then the lady turns to him who is on her left side, and gives him her right hand and he to her, and they do two trapassini, and with them, return to their places.

ne si fermino ma seguitando i(n)sieme col 3o [=tercero] compagnio faccino la treccia di cinq(ue) trapassini e u(n) passo e chiaschuno torni al luogo suo

And they do not stop, but together with the third companion, they do the treccia of five trapassini and one passo, and each one returns to his place.

dipoi stien' fermi quei da lato e la do(n)na facci i(n) uolta ama(n) mancha u(n) trapassino e fermisi

Then the ones on the sides stand still, while the lady does a trapassini turning to the left hand, and stops.

e li huomini faccino il medesimo e ferminsi

And the men do the same, and they stop.

et la donna si parta d(e)l mezzo e facci p(er) il diritto della sala tre trapassini et u(n) passo e uoltisi e subito segua faccendu(n) i(n) uolta u(n) trapassino e fermisi

And the lady leaves the center and does three trapassini and one passo straight through the hall, and turns, and immediately does a trapassino turning, and stops

dipoi quei da lato ne faccino uno d(ei) trapassini i(n) uolta et i(n)sieme faccino p(er) il diritto d(e)lla sala 3 trapassini e un passo i(m)modo ch(e) si trouino aca(n)to alla do(n)na

Then those on the sides do one of the trapassini turning, and together they do three trapassini and a passo straight through the hall in such a way that they will find themselves beside the lady.

e uoltinsi e faccino u(n) trapassino i(n) uolta et ferminsi

And they turn and do a trapassino turning and stop.

et la donna sola facci i(n) uolta u(n) trapassino

And the lady alone does a trapassino turning.

dipoi piglinsi tutti atre p(er) mano et i(n)sieme faccino i(n)anzi tre passi e mezzo

Then all three take one another by the hand, and do three and a half passi forwards,

and with the same steps, they return back.

And thus having taken hands they do the mezze riprese,
